Ohitashiji – Soup Base for Boiled vegetable side dish

If you have Ohitashiji you can enjoy making many different types of boiled vegetable side dishes. A good soup base might make you feel the vegetables taste even better than usual-


Dashi – 500cc(please see Shiratsugu Basics)
Salt – 1tsp
Soy Sauce – 1 tsp
Mirin (sweet sake for seasoning) – 1tsp


1. Put all ingredients into pot and boil
2. Cool completely

For step one, boiling the ingredients is not necessary, but it does make the taste much more hearty.
